You are teaching your daughter to be kind and compassionate and generous, and you are giving the security she needs to go out into the world and make a difference, just like you do… no matter what her individual personality is.

There will be joy, sadness, adventure, outbursts and anything else you can think of but in the end she will be her own person regardless and isn’t that what we want for all our kids. Worry less and enjoy more. Too much thinking never works but just creates the feelings that you don’t want to pass on. How much is nurture and how much nature? One never does find out. Trust me on this. At 62 almost all worry didn’t change much. Just my two cents.
