Loved this Tanya. One brave warrior woman, you are. Getting over those left over fears.
I, too am an explorer under my house built in 1926 in what is now a bustling city. I crawl and almost can walk under my house. I have found mushrooms growing the size of sunflowers and leaks of varying degrees. I once found a gas leak and just to make sure this will shock most of you I lit a match to see if it will become like a little pilot light. It did. My friends questioned my sanity but my house is built on a raised foundation and there are little screens and air and light coming in so no fear of explosion. I let the little flame burn until SOCAL gas came out which they did in half a second. They put a temporary patch, admonished me for being stupid and off they went. My plumber came the same day and fixed it. This is happened probably 25 or more years ago and at parties amongst my best friends, this comes up still for the most stupid thing that I have done as long as they have known me. Thanks Tanya for giving me a walk down memory lane.
