Honey Maid has always been ahead of many brands when it comes to featuring diverse families in their ads, so it’s no surprise that their newest ad features two gay dads and their children. However, this particular commercial focuses more on just gay parents and their children, but rather focuses on the acceptance of a father of his gay son and his family.
The ad features a Hispanic father narrating in Spanish about how he came to accept his gay son and his partner, eventually realizing that he gained another son when his own son fell in love.
At the end, the father says, “I think any child would be lucky to have dads like you.”
According to Gay Star News, the couple featured in the commercial is a real-life couple. Furthermore, the ad will appear on TV and social media.
