    I’m sorry, darlin. I’ve been thinking about you and praying for you. Drink that beer and roll around in the depression. Really roll around in it. Then get back up and try again if you can afford it. I think it helps to stop, then just start trudging forward again. I’m still cheering for you.

    I’m sorry. That really fucking sucks,it really does & the pain is just horrible-why you ? Why is it so easy for everyone else ?!
    I did 3 IVF’s-no reason given why it didn’t work-just “unlucky ” ?! WHAT !!
    Switched RE’s after I was told I needed donor eggs at age 34 & my new RE tested me for “Natural Killer “cells-the test is called an NK Assay-which I had -kind of an immune situation. I was given a low dosage of steroid to supress my immune system & did a GIFT procedure-like an IVF but the eggs/sperm go in your fallopian tube to fertilize-which they did ! Voila-pregnant & a almost 7 year old daughter today…Best of Luck & switch doctor’s if you need to.

    you said what I’ve been thinking–why me????!!!! I will have to check into NK Assay- I haven’t heard of that. I’ve been thinking about switching doctors- it’s all such a big emotional journey. thanks for the feedback and once again nice to hear another success story.

    @Alison
    I agree about switching doctors. It’s a common experience in the IVF community. If you’re looking, I can recommend mine, Dr. Tina Koopersmith. She’s a total bulldog, ran the right tests, not touchy-feely, just wants to get you a baby, and is always focused on the next step. A lot of people prefer an RE with a ton of bedside manner, but I totally preferred her methods. To the point, and when we finally got pregnant, she recommended an OB who was the total opposite of her, as nurturing and hand-holding as they come. Go figure.
