Each year we go to our local children’s museum, Kidspace and get caterpillars for the kids. We hope and pray that we can keep them all alive so that the children can watch them become butterflies and release them into the world. My wife also gets a batch for all of our children’s classrooms. This year we realized at the final hour that the teachers had not transferred the butterflies in time and they could be trapped in their tiny containers. Here’s what happened when she broke into the school at 7:30 at night to save the butterflies.
