In a new video on the Youtube Channel of Men Having Babies (an organization that helps gay men to have children through surrogacy), we see a great panel of teens who have gay dads and were born through surrogacy.
In the video, the teens discuss how they explain their families to others and how that has changed over time. They also talk about how there were few LGBTQ families in their schools.
The teens also share annoying questions they receive from others about their LGBTQ families such as, “Are you adopted?” or “Which one is your dad and which one is [your sibling’s]?”
But the main focus of the video can be summed up in one sentence by a panelist: “It’s interesting to note — family — doesn’t really matter who’s in it whether it’s man and woman, two men, or two women,” said Zachary Atkins-Weltman.
