Makeup lovers or Youtube fanatics might be aware of Manny Gutierrez. He has over 2 million followers on Youtube and about 3 million on Instagram and his talent recently set him up to be Maybelline’s first male model and face of their Big Shot mascara.
In the process of sharing his recent news, an anti-LGBT, “christian columnist and political incendiary” who writes for The Blaze, Matt Walsh, tweeted a hateful message on Twitter about Guiterrez and parenting.
Dads, this is why you need to be there to raise your sons. pic.twitter.com/8ybirgppKi

Guiterrez, not one to back down, responded to Walsh on Instagram and let him know just how proud and supportive his dad is of him.
But it didn’t end there. Father Guiterrez, Manny Sr., had his own message for Mr. Walsh which Manny shared in a screenshot of a text message to Twitter, as his father couldn’t find any contact information for Walsh to be able to contact him directly.
“Let me first begin by saying I’ve ALWAYS been there for my son and will always be there for him. Not only am I proud of what he has accomplished but I’m more proud of the person he has become.”
Manny Sr. goes on to say that he knows Walsh’s opinions comes from a place of not getting to know the LGBT community and its kind-hearted individuals. And though Dad Guiterrez’s message is kind to start out with, he let’s Walsh know that he needs to back off.
“Going forward I would choose your actions and words wisely. Just like you would do anything for your family, I would DO for mine.”
And just to show how much class he has, Dad Guiterrez signs off with, “Good day Sir.”

Can we get three cheers for this dad and all the others like him in this world? Because that’s good parenting.
