We just moved into our new house less than a year ago, and with that, we are still decorating here and there. Though Susan and I generally do most of the home decorating, we like our children to enjoy their rooms and make their spaces in our home their own. This last week, we came up with a great idea to do that.
As a family, we decided to make a mural for the kids’ playroom! This involved ordering a giant Lullubee coloring mural which we spread out on the kitchen table. Everyone then grabbed crayons, markers, and coloring tools, and we all got to work on different aspects of the mural. The results were fantastic.
The kids had a blast, and Susan and I had a chance to do something creative, and honestly, something that’s a bit out-of-the-norm for a morning activity with our kids, which I loved. Not only did we make some fun memories with the kids and let them go crazy with their artistic qualities, but they got to create something for their playroom, their space, and that’s an important part of making a home.
